back in 2 | group shot

sunday, day out to the northern coast to get the job done, it's been like two weeks since our last strobing projects, well infact we have been planning for this quite sometime before, and some sort of preparations and DIY gears as i mentioned before, but unfortunately it never had a chance being into play.
now with all the pretty girls, the process gone really well for this session, eventhou it was pretty tough, but it's been a great time for collaborating. the works will be up soon or later, so stay put.

the desolate land

that's the place where we have found few weeks before. well it's hard to believe what i saw..what we have got there is a abandoned 5 stories shopping-mall, is where we did our photo-shooting last saturday, yet that's not just that, the entire area is empty which along the way there's rolls of abandoned shop-lots, and the shopping mall is just right in the center, and is full of overgrown grass all over the area, everything was torn apart, even the underground parking lot is filled with water ...well is a place where that is not possible for anyone to find in the city, at first it might look really spooky but yet it's epic, it would be a good used of place for different kinds of shooting.

about the shots that happened to be the longest hours we've worked on. 7 models - 1 scene and we split it out, taken one by one which to get the perfect even lighting on each models, i did mentioned about this before on previous post. it was an exhausted day from morning 9 until 5.

five & six

well, we've been spending the entire last saturday to look around for the suitable locations.., which we couldn't even really found what we really want though. fortunately, we got dig in deeper in a village area, there's like maybe 3 to 5 football fields long paddy field along the way for what we've found on the day..we reached and got everything all setting up around 4.30, well the sun is still high up on the sky, the bright sun give the nature soft light on the models and over the entire environment which is really good producing the best images, eventhough it's gonna be skin burning, but it's worth it for doing

and last, appreciate much for Hanni and Shann for the time and for that in a hurry.

i had a very tired weekend though, guess im gonna take a week rest now..

multiple shots 1st attempt

the good ol'days ? no. well since last night we have none of works to get on with, then we came up with some new stuff, so now we had the time on experimenting it the new way that which we never did before - group action shot with using strobe. don't even mention about " action " even a group shot we're kind of dealing with sort of problems , back and forth we shots bunch of photos for one only scene. why would I say it takes time 'cause if we take one single shot for the entire group, lighting will come out really awful, then we take one by one, so what we will get the completely perfect lighting, guess it's the matter that we don't have the big lighting set-ups, well, then it comes to freezing high-speed action parts, is still a big question mark for me though... but we'll work things out. instead of keep on doing same thing over again, I guess this'd be real fun.

Tukun hill | Shann

we was suppose to photo-shoot at the St. Anne church today, but when the time we took out our stands the guards came toward us that we was told from the guards that we cannot do any photo-shooting in the church or anywhere around the church unfortunately. so we changed to tukun hill some where near by, we cant go far 'cause the time is running out,and infact it's getting late though. we have very short time today, but it goes quite well, and don't get wrong of the first piece, I like the way it is, but it is not the final pieces, I just took it to use as an example. anyways, thanks to Shann for her favor, and I should head to sack right now, tomorrow still got one more photo-shooting to go

behind the camera

I still can't figure out any name for the title yet, so far. this time everyone of
us came up with a lot of plans and ideas, and we decided to do the martial
arts theme, with a few fight scenes. anyways,well I still have a couple shots
of the behind the camera scenes, and a video, I didn't upload it yet though,
'cause I just can't bother much on arranging the photos to fitting in the layout,
it might takes sometime if it's too much, and I guess my photo works is still
keep on stacking...these photos is not the final pieces -

the pixy girl

from ten to ten, working on the whole day, might
pretty exhausted though, even worse got trapped
in the screw up traffic all the way back home. well
fortunately, atleast we've got some good works
today, should be thanking Samantha and Nicole
for their big favor. well I realize that we don't
necessary using bunch of speed lights to bring out
the model, could have using speed light and reflector
will do good as well for simple set-up.

Behind the scene

there's too much that Im not able to post everything up at once. I am busy on editing photos and some other stuff though, trying to seattle everything up as soon as possible then I could put up the final pieces. anyways, this is the photos of the progress that what we've doing last week.

till dusk on freeway

Frances keep telling me why I'm not going out. so I rang my friend " let's get
some shit done " we were taking ride on the freeway like no one else business.
all along the highway, we don't even have any idea where we are heading to, so
again we passed by a paddy field. we didn't even planing well today, so we just
took any we saw along the muddy way at the paddy field, perhaps that we might
be able to find something interesting. so we were waiting for dusk at the end
we saw this the agriculture machines. it's such a cool machines we got attracted
by the dirtiness of it and infact the sunset is awesome.

raining days

what can I describe about this huh . The first to the second pictures it
is just 1 hour difference. we were suppose to have model photo-shooting
goes on today and the sky look way awesome today on our way there. we
was there early, we took 45 minutes to set everything up, and do all the
lighting arrangement and stuff. just right after 15 minutes the model
came...all the arcus clouds starts forming and coming towards us from
the north it started raining just right after awhile. these day is hardly
we can out at noon, the sky seems like has set an automatic alarm system,
that everyday will start raining between 5 to 6pm

abandoned old train station

it happened a couple weeks ago while we was stuck in our car cause of
the heavy raining. well since we have been so ready for shooting that
day, and my friend came up with an idea of shooting in that place.I've
never been there before and it's barely can be found, cause this place
is right deep in somewhere at the industrial area. it's pretty creepy
though when I first went in there,it's an very old abandoned railway
station, and you can actually feel that has no one been there for a
long time but it is definitely an amazing place for photo-shooting,
the outstanding background and we'll be goin' back for another try.

the first photo from left was taken as a test shot so can actually saw the
speed lights was cropped in as well. and this one is better out of all we
have taken surprisingly it came out very interesting lighting on the model
and with the background as well.
infact it look better then the serious shots. we have been trying so many
times to get back the lighting. well as you can see my previous post of
the progress, we kept changing angles and places. and what we got is what
you can see on the second photo.
there's more to come this weekdays.

stormy paddy feild

it's been awhile since my last posting bout process. this is a couple shots of the strobist progress we went through yesterday, but unfortunately I didnt get any good ones, and after 1 and half hour, the raining clouds is starting to form and not more then just few minutes is all upon us.wind blow and the air is chill,it's just too nice to hang around there eventhough there's few drop of rain already.

well, its too hard to get a better layout
when it gets too much photos.

anyways, I took some pictures of the photoshooting
progress that we went through yesterday,
it should be around 6 p.m. when we started.
and the sun its high up at the sky still,
it's pretty warm though,
but it's so much fun.
