so i'm pretty much done with this session.
well above this the first shot on the left is actually working without any extra lights, so it's only
the nature light- sunlight. and i did chosen a couple non strobing shots this time, those that was
taken around 6 in the evening, because at that time between 6 - 7 the ambient started getting
low, which it produce really soft shadows, and excellent dramatic light.

flashes is all i've been working with all this time, so those might not be my best shots, but it's
worth for sharing perhaps?

sunday, day out to the northern coast to get the job done, it's been like two weeks since our last strobing projects, well infact we have been planning for this quite sometime before, and some sort of preparations and DIY gears as i mentioned before, but unfortunately it never had a chance being into play.
now with all the pretty girls, the process gone really well for this session, eventhou it was pretty tough, but it's been a great time for collaborating. the works will be up soon or later, so stay put.

nothing much have done two weeks back,
processor hard-drive went burst while i
was working on some projects for the clients.
trying hard to recover back the all data,
but nothing much left though.

well we have DIY a 10 meter x 10 meter
sunlight shine through translucent sheet
with the PVC builded frame for the sunday
photo-shooting session . so we came to
a coast which closed by where i live for a
try out on saturday. on the day we was sitting
there at the coast for hours. eventually we
get to witnessed the entire progress of the
gigantic raining clouds coming toward us and
takes over Penang island in very short period.
well as you can clearly see what we saw on
that day in the photos for the before and
after shots.

Observation

well it was a serious burning hot day, we was at the beach fortunately, it's pretty gusty though not as worse as in the town. well, we were looking up for a new spot for the upcoming photo session, so we heading up to the beaches anywhere around the northern coast, got us a spot which at the teluk pahang area, not as loaded and massed as the batu ferringhi coast, it give us a great space or working, no interruption and no extra works after when post-procession. So we kinda observed around for the suitable scene and angle, and took a few snaps here you can see on the above...

well infact we've bought some new stuffs & equipments, a couple super clamps, 12x12 meters blank sheet, stands...and so on, it will be a try-out for the light setups, it will do pretty handy, we'll see how to goes anyway. stay put :)

a good lesson learnt that not to wear flip-flops for shooting day out, especially when you knows that
you were gonna have to walk for miles, the flip-flops thongs will gonna scratch your skins bit by bits
off.

atop of this was two of the shots that was taken yesterday. we came up with this idea for our day out
shooting without much thought , cause it's been awhile since our last out for street photography, kinda
missed that though..
and i've to say i was pretty tired, didn't really sleep well on the other night; like i said it was a sudden
plan. but it's been quite relaxing, unlike every other day out, the weather is actually pretty cool, not
even a inch of burnt skin after a 5 hours walked around town, although i got some skin scratched coz of
the flip-flop straps

so far that's the only two im get it done with, there's still couple more to go on, and also some of my
favorite portrait shots. guess i need to get my ass back to work, and more effort on my fave portrait shots!
way to go!

i had came up with a chrome version, some photo filtering
and saturation changes... just try not stay the same way
as the first two, making something different perhaps. well
I've cropped out some part of the last two photos, i suppose it look better this way, and so pretty

the desolate land

that's the place where we have found few weeks before. well it's hard to believe what i saw..what we have got there is a abandoned 5 stories shopping-mall, is where we did our photo-shooting last saturday, yet that's not just that, the entire area is empty which along the way there's rolls of abandoned shop-lots, and the shopping mall is just right in the center, and is full of overgrown grass all over the area, everything was torn apart, even the underground parking lot is filled with water ...well is a place where that is not possible for anyone to find in the city, at first it might look really spooky but yet it's epic, it would be a good used of place for different kinds of shooting.

about the shots that happened to be the longest hours we've worked on. 7 models - 1 scene and we split it out, taken one by one which to get the perfect even lighting on each models, i did mentioned about this before on previous post. it was an exhausted day from morning 9 until 5.

well, we've been spending the entire last saturday to look around for the suitable locations.., which we couldn't even really found what we really want though. fortunately, we got dig in deeper in a village area, there's like maybe 3 to 5 football fields long paddy field along the way for what we've found on the day..we reached and got everything all setting up around 4.30, well the sun is still high up on the sky, the bright sun give the nature soft light on the models and over the entire environment which is really good producing the best images, eventhough it's gonna be skin burning, but it's worth it for doing

and last, appreciate much for Hanni and Shann for the time and for that in a hurry.

i had a very tired weekend though, guess im gonna take a week rest now..

the raining seasons got us stuck on every weekends recently. well fortunately, it turns out better for a couple hours last night, and so we able to get on with the progress and that have been planned for quite sometimes before.well much appreciated for Caroline and Jace for the big favor...gotta get on with my works then, cheers.

as I was told that we might be able to observe Perseid meteor showers at between 0130 am to 0400 am on August 13, will striking the sky hourly. so I was getting my camera , tripod, controller all set-up, waiting, looking forward for seeing Perseid meteor showers ... yet everyone is waited for the miracle but nothing comes up after all. people was complaining that might be just an prank, but is exactly opposite, the prediction of astronomy on Perseid meteors showers on August 13 is absolutely. indeed while i dig in, into flicker and i found some photos and a couple articles throughout google search.

the good ol'days ? no. well since last night we have none of works to get on with, then we came up with some new stuff, so now we had the time on experimenting it the new way that which we never did before - group action shot with using strobe. don't even mention about " action " even a group shot we're kind of dealing with sort of problems , back and forth we shots bunch of photos for one only scene. why would I say it takes time 'cause if we take one single shot for the entire group, lighting will come out really awful, then we take one by one, so what we will get the completely perfect lighting, guess it's the matter that we don't have the big lighting set-ups, well, then it comes to freezing high-speed action parts, is still a big question mark for me though... but we'll work things out. instead of keep on doing same thing over again, I guess this'd be real fun.

it is like my first time ever taking closed-up shots ( well it's not that very close-up ) but anyway, first I don't intend on taking any close-up shots that day, I was there taking some sunrise scenes, but 'cause of the sky doesn't came up good, as what we expected. I took a walk along the paddy field, I did some shots on the flowers , and then surprisingly I found a bunch of 12-gauge shotgun shells along the way, i wonder if they used it to shoot paddy stealers ? ( hope is not to take down the photographers who were trying to take photos of his paddy ) p.s : I'm only using 18 - 55 mm vr nikkor lens.

perhaps we should start this from last saturday, it was a serious black saturday, we was suppose to did the shooting on saturday afternoon, but the sky doesn't seem to getting any better ever since at the morning, the unstop raining really gets on my nerves that day, stops and back again until the next day, sunday morning, but fortunately everything slowly gets better at the sunday afternoon, while we are heading out to the location. even it still do look kind of hazy though on the sky, but I insist to head to the location and see what's really going on, I ain't gonna wasted another day, another time again. we have passing by several locations around the batu ferringhi and teluk pahang. we was planing to get to the small beaches around teluk pahang area will have no strangers come to disturb, but the sea level increased after the rains , and the most terrifying thing is the waves that able to get higher around 5 feet tall, like it's my first time ever I seen in my life, and the entire tiny beaches has got covered up. well anyways, we got our spot on the first location, is at the Tropical Spice Garden , then we changed to another location is on the batu ferringhi beach. thank God for not let it rain, and we able to go on well with our photo-shooting and able to finished the first season without any heavy obstacles and thanks to Natalie for her help, I'm really appreciate that. here you go, on the top is couple test shots and progress shots, the final pieces will soon be done, then I'll need start arranging for the second season.

we was suppose to photo-shoot at the St. Anne church today, but when the time we took out our stands the guards came toward us that we was told from the guards that we cannot do any photo-shooting in the church or anywhere around the church unfortunately. so we changed to tukun hill some where near by, we cant go far 'cause the time is running out,and infact it's getting late though. we have very short time today, but it goes quite well, and don't get wrong of the first piece, I like the way it is, but it is not the final pieces, I just took it to use as an example. anyways, thanks to Shann for her favor, and I should head to sack right now, tomorrow still got one more photo-shooting to go

I still can't figure out any name for the title yet, so far. this time everyone of
us came up with a lot of plans and ideas, and we decided to do the martial
arts theme, with a few fight scenes. anyways,well I still have a couple shots

a couple weeks back, Jace he had showed
me a link to Eve. facebook profile, saying
that he has got a model on his side, so
we can come up with some ideas and stuff

first it wasn't really that impress me, not
until when I saw her right infront of me

a long five years back of an broken
amazing punk-pop trio band,got
separated in to 2 different bands
cause of some misunderstanding.
on summer 2009, today they're back
again. they had their first show
performed on The Tonight Show
with Jay Leno on 18 may. Mark, Tom
and Travis were back together for the
first time in five years, well they did
played a tune that is nearly 8 years old,
but Mark voice sounded out-of-practice, and even worse Tom still sing like the way he sing AVA.
but what do we expect, it's been 5 years time, guess they still need time to get used to, I believe
they can do better. well in-fact, they are now still working on their new songs for their new album,
and will unveil one new song on tour with Weezer and Fall Out Boy this summer.

well I think it's only 3 days after I came back from genting
, but surprisingly today I feel like I'm at the genting again,
eventualy Im still passing by where I passed by at the balcony
on the 6th floor, not like every other days, today I can barely
saw the KLCC tower.
everything is wrong today, the weather, the sky, and
the fucking streamyx connection, the thick smog and warm
weather makes everyone sick, not just me though...well I'm
sick for like days already, infact a lot of my friends too.
one just got really terrible sorethroat last night.

it's been a couple days Im here,
currently I'm still abide at friend's house,
waiting for room to be available. here I'm,
nothing much I can do though. well I just can't
stuck in my friend's room the whole day long,

4 hours rest for the past few nights, surely it
is not enough but last night probably because I

geht klar,wo sollte ich anfangen...
das ist, über den ich sprach auf dem vorherigen
posten, am gehsteig in der nähe die reisfeld,und
mit dem traktor. dieses stück-foto nahm mich fast
ein tag gerade für das Foto-Redigieren, und dieser
Schuss die farben ist ziemlich interessant, konnte
wegen des Sonnenuntergangs, tatsächlich die
beleuchtung und zusammensetzung bin ich auch
ganz zufrieden. dafür eine bessere Ansicht meinen
überprüfen Flicker.

Frances keep telling me why I'm not going out. so I rang my friend " let's get
some shit done " we were taking ride on the freeway like no one else business.
all along the highway, we don't even have any idea where we are heading to, so
again we passed by a paddy field. we didn't even planing well today, so we just
took any we saw along the muddy way at the paddy field, perhaps that we might
be able to find something interesting. so we were waiting for dusk at the end
we saw this the agriculture machines. it's such a cool machines we got attracted
by the dirtiness of it and infact the sunset is awesome.

it was quite a rushing day though, after
picking up my stuff at my friend's place.

Friend's works. have a walk around town

raining days

what can I describe about this huh . The first to the second pictures it
is just 1 hour difference. we were suppose to have model photo-shooting
goes on today and the sky look way awesome today on our way there. we
was there early, we took 45 minutes to set everything up, and do all the
lighting arrangement and stuff. just right after 15 minutes the model
came...all the arcus clouds starts forming and coming towards us from
the north it started raining just right after awhile. these day is hardly
we can out at noon, the sky seems like has set an automatic alarm system,
that everyday will start raining between 5 to 6pm

here's the result for the abandoned old
train station project, and it's another
failed projects, well first thing first
we doesn't have enough amounts of
speed lights to brighten up the whole
enviroment and this train station is
huge, so it need a serious amounts of
lights. as you can see on the result
that's how it is when is lacking of
speed lights, you will notice that the
pictures itself is plain, and that's not
how Strobist works.

it happened a couple weeks ago while we was stuck in our car cause of
the heavy raining. well since we have been so ready for shooting that
day, and my friend came up with an idea of shooting in that place.I've
never been there before and it's barely can be found, cause this place
is right deep in somewhere at the industrial area. it's pretty creepy
though when I first went in there,it's an very old abandoned railway
station, and you can actually feel that has no one been there for a
long time but it is definitely an amazing place for photo-shooting,
the outstanding background and we'll be goin' back for another try.

the first photo from left was taken as a test shot so can actually saw the
speed lights was cropped in as well. and this one is better out of all we
have taken surprisingly it came out very interesting lighting on the model
and with the background as well.
infact it look better then the serious shots. we have been trying so many
times to get back the lighting. well as you can see my previous post of
the progress, we kept changing angles and places. and what we got is what
you can see on the second photo.

I came here all the time, and I always
looking forward for something special,
a much better shot for the sunset or
so. This day I was there waiting an
hour for sunset like how I used to be,
but unlike every other days, this time
I saw massive rain clouds right upon
Penang Island, fortunately the sun still
visible, and sunlight shining through
the rain clouds, that gaves me a
outstanding result for sunset scene.
I like the part of the container cranes
reaching up to the sky.
it is a story for me.

Ferrari 360 Modena

well is another day out for photoshooting,
we walked around town,with no direction
or theme we just keep capturing, and so I
saw this yellow Ferrari 360 Modena
parked just right by the street, I just
couldn't resist to take a shot or two, too
pleasing. so I simple took a few shoots of
it, unfortunately some part of this ride
isn't cropped in, so as the Ferrari logo,
sadly. 400bhp at 8500rpm, 0-65mph only
takes 4.5 seconds, top speed can reached
300km/h (186mph) so basically Modena
is a good ride. well this is my first time
ever get so close to a Ferrari, and was
my first time ever photoshooting a car,
still got loads to learn though.

I've taken a couple of shoots that day,
and so far this is those that is the best.
time the photos was taken.
1 | 7:30 ( porcelain )
2 | 5:00 ( for a wonder )
I've no idea which one of it it's better,
but both shoots did attract me well.
the model is Katherine, a friend of mine.

well, its too hard to get a better layout
when it gets too much photos.
so I make it just the thumbnails sizes.
anyways, I took some pictures of the photoshooting
progress that we went through yesterday,
it should be around 6 p.m. when we started.
and the sun its high up at the sky still,
it's pretty warm though,
but it's so much fun.

pilgrimage

we gathered at 6 at the morning.
before took off, we stop by a restaurant,
we took our breakfast and so as gears check up.
we reached there probably around 8 am,
it took us awhile to get to the destination along with the crowd.
it's pretty interesting though,
like this is my first time coming to this festival,
but the hardest part is still the warm weather.

the sequence of a person jumping,

there's always something that far out from our imagination.
this day, we came from far to this beach which
somewhere that deep inside.
surprisingly this beach, it look pretty amazing.
it's quite clean though comparing to the other beaches here.
probably because it is far deep inside.
not much people who knows about this place still.
but unfortunately this time the sunset, and the cloud..
it's not what we're expected.
hope the next round we'll get a better result.

yesterday we went to a gigantic new year event,
and it's way hard to find a spot for shooting.
so since this girl she's too little,
she can't squeeze with the crowd,
her dad put her stand on his shoulder,
to get better view for the performance.
and that's where it started.
she actualy catch the attention of all the photographer around her.
she's totaly adorable.

I wonder what's really goes wrong with my computer lately,
on january 19 I got nearly all my accounts has been hacked.
first friendster, then msn, yahoo messenger and flickr.
so it took me a day to renew all the accounts.
the next day, like in a sudden my computer sign out
and when I tried to sign in, it's not working cause the
is corrupted...well luckily I managed to save it by repairing
the whole windows and stuff and I got it back.
unfortunately...
today it gone worse, I don't even know where the heck is
the virus came from, my computer is seriously laggy,
my cpu usage reached max.
I scanned the whole computer, I found its a spyware,
I deleted it, I uninstall everything that's unnecessary,
I just did whatever I can but it's still the same,
I've totaly got no clue bout this anymore.
I feel crappy and I'm tired of this...
I think he got me...and I'm not sure who did this, but i'll find out
you know this is not much different than a back-stabbing cunt.

today we're out for shooting again,

just like every other weekdays, we're out to look for a better location

and yes, we did found a good place shoot,

but this time with a very different techniques " strobist - off camera flash "

we found this through a blog, that's where we learned from

we've never try this before, so at first we don't think it's gonna worked.

but we give our best shoot though.

so we got gears on, cameras, flash, light stands,

umbrella adapters, triggers, and so on.

that is how we did our set up.

I'll show the shooting results once the editing is well done.

clogged

currently, my house and room is under renovation,

the progress's still goes on and it's been going for couple days already,

everything is total chaos,

cause need to put up a few cabinets,

so a lot of drilling, cutting and stuff,

now everything and everywhere is clogged with thick dust...

I couldn't imagine how we're going to clean that up,

sure it's loads to do..

anyways, hope they'll get it done asap,

so, I can get back to my works, more comfortable.

alright, finally I got it half way done

still trying to get the layout to be arranged though.

I actually spent hours time for the layout.

I never thought that I actually signing up for this,

I mean I was getting bored last night, and nobody is on.

at the same time I was checking on my cousins' blog,
